This year, the annual press conference (BPK) and analysts’ conference (AK) of Verbio AG were first transferred via live stream.
As a local live stream provider was BMK.TV asked to webcast the press conference with the complete HD Camera Production and Live Stream. The Verbio Vereinigte BioEnergie AG is one of the leading independent producers and suppliers of bio fuels in Germany and Europe.
The first talks took place already more than six months before the event, when was the whole process explained and the existing internet connection for live stream transmission has been tested. Two micro sites in the corporate design of VERBIO AG were established, in which was integrated the live stream player for the annual press conference and analysts’ meeting and also a chat function for the questions of the journalists. The link to the micro site was given to selected journalists and analysts via e-mail invitation and was released additionally via press release.
Our team built a studio set for the live streaming transmission in the conference room already a day before the conference. We used two full HD cameras, a radio microphone with mixer, the Dedolight lighting set and image mixing technology with the live streaming encoders. The day started with the transfer of the English-speaking analyst conference and the subsequent annual press conference in German. The program signal was mixed live locally. In our picture directing we handled not only two camera signals but also the signal from a laptop presentation. The pre-produced live virtual set allowed the parallel presentation of the speaker and the corresponding presentation chart. The program transmitted signal was available not only as a live stream on the web, but it was also recorded for archive purposes simultaneously to a hard disk.
